Yomi wiki is on Twitter .
That account is used to spotlight notable pages on Yomi Wiki, and other things of interest to the Pocket Rumble community and people who like accessible fighting games.
Do you know of anything that would be good to share on there?
Just Updated
Hello,
Wiki Twitter profile
Yomi Wiki now has a Twitter profile (@YomiWiki).
That account will be used to spotlight notable pages on Yomi Wiki, and other things of interest to the Yomi community and people who like accessible fighting games.
Other Twitter profiles of interest
- @SirlinGames - the developers of Yomi: Fighting Card Game, Puzzle Strike, and Flash Duel (all three of those games are playable online here )
- @DiveKickGame - the Twitter profile of the simple, yet surprisingly deep two-button fighting game, Divekick .
- @CardboardRobotG - the developers of a new, accessible fighting game called Pocket Rumble . A great quote from an interview the developers did:
[Talking about how all characters in Pocket Rumble have the same amount of health, specials, supers, and identical hitboxes]
April: "[Designing the game that way] does, to a certain extent, I will admit, decrease the depth of our game a little bit. It's a balancing act the whole time."
Interviewer: "What percentage of players reach the depth in Street Fighter 2 Turbo? I'm going to guess it's less than 1%." April: "I guess what we're trying to do is increase that depth to like, 40 [percent]. We're trying to make a game where a lot of the people who pick it up can get good [at it]. [...] We're trying to make a game where it is much easier for someone to understand and to execute everything you need to play at a competitive level."
Want to help contribute to Yomi Wiki?
Take a look at the Projects page for a list of things that need doing.
We need a new Yomi wiki favicon.
The favicton is the little graphic that shows up in browser tabs next to the page name. Currently it's just a playing card from a public domain website
Criteria for the new favicon:
- We ideally want it to be released into the creative commons under a CC BY-SA license .
- It needs to be different than the Fantasy Strike favicon.
Suggestions? Ideas?
Able to make one?
Let's try figure out what direction to take this in.
